Lake Ontario Fishing Charters

Obviously, Lake Ontario is the main reason you are visiting upstate New York. It is one of the Great Lakes and has the most potential for catching a truckload of fish. You don't have to visit Lake Ontario for some great fishing! Check out these hidden gems.

Burt Dam & Fisherman's Park

This stop is a short drive from the Lake Ontario Motel, and is one our favorite mainland fishing spots. People come here in the fall because the salmon are biting more often.

Oak Orchard

While this fishing spot is 35 minutes away from our inn, it still is a favorite among fishing enthusiasts. Makes for a great ice fishing spot if you want to try something new.

Eighteen Mile Creek

This creek runs straight through Olcott from Lake Ontario. People love fishing here because there are usually great spots to fish no matter how many people are around.

From spring to fall, you'll see countless fishing tournaments starting up. People from all over come to test their skills and luck to get the best fish.
